Customs charges and taxes are not usually payable on orders sent within the European Union. Wood & Cotton Co. does not accept liability for any local customs charges, handling fees, duty or taxes, or for any delays that may occur if a parcel is held.
RETURNS
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, if you buy online, you may return or exchange goods within 14 working days of delivery. We ask that you notify us via email to [email protected].
Returns are at yours' own expenses, unless Faulty or Incorrect Items. We advise you use an insured, signed for service. All accurately returned products will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit or debit card, excluding delivery costs, within 7 working days.
The product you return must be in new, unused, condition and with all the original packaging and product tags still attached. New and unused means, that there are no marks on the item or packaging. We are unable to accept any item with any indication that it was used.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you are returning a larger item delivered to you by courier, we will arrange for the collection of the goods. Please note the customer is responsible for the cost of the return, the price of which will be deducted from your refund.

- When your order is dispatched you will receive a confirmation email, including an Order tracking reference to use on the courier's website.
- If you are ordering any of our products from outside the UK, please contact us prior to ordering so that we can obtain you a quote for delivery.
- Deliveries to remote UK places (AB, DD, FK, IV, KA, PA, PH, TR, TD, KW, HS, JE, GY) will incur a surcharge of £2.00 and subject to additional 1-2 days delivery.
- We won’t accept liability for any delivery instructions issued to the delivery company by you. If you leave instructions requesting a parcel to be left in an alternative location, for example with a neighbour or in a garage, we cannot accept responsibility if you fail to receive your parcel.
- Deliveries are to front door only. Please make sure the item will fit into your chosen room and also ensure doorways and hallways en route are wide enough for it to pass. Goods that fail to fit into your property at point of delivery are your responsibility as we have no control over this.
